ABOUT US
In the late 1800s,
Michael's great
grandparents began a
long line of
agricultural
generations. The
family went from the
dairy industry in
the 50s, to the
registered Polled
Hereford cattle
business in the 70s.
Harold, Michael's
father, became a
Church of Christ
preacher and
agriculture teacher
while raising Polled
Hereford Cattle on
the farm. Michael
continued in his
footsteps to also
become and
agriculture teacher,
but has ventured in
all types of
agriculture programs
outside of school to
help give his
students opportunity
to be more active in
the industry. Our
boys (Will, Wyatt,
Wayd, and Waylon),
and their cousins
(Madison, Myles, and
Ethan), begin the
5th generation of
future
agriculturists.
With the turn of the
century and the
birth of
grandchildren, new
interest developed
in a kid friendly
industry keeping the
red and white
animal, just in a
smaller package. The
Boer Industry has
been exciting to be
involved with and we
hope for many
success years to
come. |
